Mike's Bio
Holding two degrees in fine and commercial art, and 36 years of producing work and framing art
for others, I began teaching art at the local senior center in 2000. Teaching through Centralia Colleges enrichment
program, an opportunity that has brought me back to my first love, painting. I work mostly in oil and acrylic with a
little watercolor and graphite on the side. My favorite subjects are wildlife and florals, and when I get a chance
plein air painting, ( painting on location outdoors). I also enjoy painting people and pet portraiture.
